Located in the heart of North America, Groveport is within 1000 miles of 50 percent of the population and approximately 60 percent of the consumer market of the United States and Canada. The
location advantage of Groveport is complemented by an excellent transportation infrastructure. Railroads, interstate highways and airport gateways converge to create an area where shipping and receiving by almost any method is quick and inexpensive.
- Interstates: I-70 (East-West - five minutes away), I-71 (North-South - nine minutes away), I-270 (Outer belt - one minute away), I-75 (North-South - one hour away), I-77 (North-South - one hour away)
 - U.S. Highways: US 23 (North-South), US 33 (NW-SE), US 40 (East-West), US 62 (NE-SW)
- Trucking: More than 130 trucking companies have terminals in Franklin county. All major less-than-truckload (LTL) companies, including UPS, have depots in the area.
- Freight Rail Lines: Conrail, CSX and Norfolk-Southern all have lines in the area, each with multiple yards.
- Freight Airports: Rickenbacker is an international
multi-modal cargo airport, a charter passenger terminal, a U.S.
Foreign-Trade Zone, a distribution hub and a major component and
economic engine of the Central Ohio region, servicing customer
needs around the world.
Rickenbacker is also a high-speed international logistics hub
with a strategically planned cargo complex that serves several
key business segments, including international airfreight,
freight forwarding, corporate aviation, e-commerce fulfillment
and distribution.
Rickenbacker's unprecedented geographic location, tools and

access to the global marketplace. Columbus is within a one-day
truck drive to more of the U.S. population than any other city
in the United States or Canada. Foreign-Trade Zone No. 138

- Passenger Airports: Port Columbus International Airport
Port Columbus provides 178 daily non-stop flights to 34
airports. Air carriers include Air Canada Jazz, America West,
American, Continental, Delta, Independence Air, Midwest Connect,
Northwest, Southwest, United, US Airways, USA3000 as well as the
regional affiliates associated with many of these major
airlines.
The Rickenbacker Charter Terminal is a 43,000 sq. ft.,
two-gate terminal developed to meet the charter needs of
travelers in Central Ohio. The convenient location and
easy-to-use facility is proving to be a favorite among leisure
travelers. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
maintains the highest standards of security and baggage
screening at the Airport.

The area also has deep-water connections. Historic marketing and business development agreements have been signed with the Ports of Virginia, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and the Los Angeles Harbor Department's Worldport L.A. The partnership agreements give international shippers efficient access to North American heartland markets via our area. The Ports of New York & New Jersey, Virginia and Los Angeles offer shippers all the clout and amenities of the largest ports in the world.
