Children's Activities at Groveport Town Hall

Crooked Alley KidSpace
630 Wirt Road, Groveport
 An arts and education center, created just for children, is currently being developed at the site of the Village's former senior center.  Crooked Alley KidSpace is located adjacent to the alley (Crooked Alley!) which connects Main Street to the Municipal Parking Lot to Wirt Road.  When completed, the facility will offer children's arts and crafts, dance classes, junior theatre, a protected playground, a children's computer center and library, meeting and party rooms, and plenty of fun things to do whenever you visit.  

Crooked Alley Treehouse is now being installed in what will become KidSpace's enclosed playground.  This play center is made from a real redwood tree trunk, with a kid-sized house on top and lots of fun things to do around the house.

There are still a number of opportunities to offer your support.  We need drywall, lighting, flooring, lobby furniture - and volunteers to help create the center.    It's all being created right now by members of the community - for members of the community.   For a complete listing of all the generous donors to date, please click here.

Grow With Me is an opportunity for a parent/caregiver and a child to play, to learn and to grow together. You and your child can look forward to arts and crafts, storytelling, music and dance, and spending moments together with age-appropriate toys and play equipment.
 
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., activities are centered upon a specific theme. Your child will discover each week’s theme through playtime, story time, and arts-related activities.

Donation for Playgroup is $2/child for taxpayers and $3/non-taxpayers per child.

In the event of inclement weather, the playgroup will be canceled. We will follow the closing schedule announced by the Groveport Madison School District. Please listen to the radio or contact Town Hall at 836-3333.
